The Mazda B-Series offers the choice of two powerful engines. The robust 2.3L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine supplies a power of 143 horses to the B2300 trim. For the B4000 trim, a more potent 4.0-liter, SOHC 12-valve, V6 engine delivers 207 horsepower. Both the engines are coupled to a standard five-speed manual transmission with floor mounted shifter. A smooth five-speed automatic transmission with a column mounted shifter is optional for both the trims.
B2300 models come standard with rear-wheel drive, while an effective four-wheel drive with a dual-range transfer case is standard on the B4000 models. With these two powerful engines, the B-Series pick-up trucks are second to none in their class for excellence and all-round performance.
